On the 21st of last month I arrived at an event at AT&T accompanied by my dad, one of my colleagues there greeted him with a:

  • I already knew you sir, I saw you in a picture in Mamá Godín's networks.

My dad looked at me with curiosity and then I had to explain. I have agreements about who I can and can't upload to social media. My dad was not included in that initial line of communication. People even came to insult me on networks arguing that I don't have a father, or husband, or children; when you call yourself a feminist, people assume you hate men and that you live in some kind of commune with only women.

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
