I am writing these lines from my bed while my children play in the next room. Today I have not been in the office for thirteen days because I asked for a "sick leave" for mental health, a concept that does not exist in the Federal Labor Law in Mexico. I have been diagnosed with anxiety for two years, and it was precisely at the premiere of the Opinión 51 platform that I shared how complex it is to take care of, work and influence in the midst of a pandemic.
A few weeks ago, when my training didn't taste like anything, I had trouble getting out of bed, I didn't understand my job, I had to quit the diploma of my dreams and I had intrusive thoughts, I decided to ask for help, first from my husband, then from the health professionals who accompany me and finally from my office.
