Gender violence does not exist in the case of men. In the very few cases of violence by a woman against a man, particularly within the home, it is classified as domestic violence.

In judicial and legal terms, gender-based violence is in favor of women and not in a gratuitous manner. The Law establishes that gender violence, whether in the public, political or private sphere, occurs when the dignity, integrity, life, psychology or property damage of women is violated.

Behind these precepts in favor of women, there are many years of violence against them, of denigrating and abusive treatment, rape, beatings, wage inequality, labor injustice, slander and psychological damage for the simple fact of being a woman, and, therefore, deserving of less or mistreatment. Slapping as a corrective measure.

Women at the forefront of the debate, leading the way to a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. Here, diversity of thought and equitable representation across sectors are not mere ideals; they are the heart of our community.
