In the crosshairs... of the United States
In at least four Mexican states - Michoacán, Estado de México, Guerrero and Morelos - the criminal organization known as the New Michoacán Family is holding society hostage to its violence through bullets, threats and extortion.
This cartel, led by brothers Johnny and José Alfredo Hurtado Olascoaga, is behind the confrontation between residents of Texcaltitlán, State of Mexico, and criminals from one of its cells, which left fourteen dead on Friday, December 8 at noon: 11 criminals and three residents of the region.
